Memories to last a lifetime

Rainbow Camp of Massachusetts was founded in 1948 by Mrs. Lulu H. Gobrecht, the founder of Rainbow Assemblies in Massachusetts. Since then it has been a place where all Rainbow Girls can meet and make new friends. Campers are welcome from any Grand Jurisdiction. The friendships made at Rainbow Camp are some of the most treasured memories of any Rainbow Girl.

We want to share an important update regarding the 2026 Rainbow Camp season.

After much discussion and careful consideration, the Rainbow Camp of Massachusetts Board of Directors made the difficult decision to offer one week of Rainbow Camp this summer.
This was not a decision that was made lightly. Several factors contributed to this year's schedule.
Supreme Sessions being held in Tucson, Arizona, during mid-to-late July, and many of our
dedicated staff members will be attending in support of our jurisdiction and to support our Jr. PGWA, Morgan V. and our incoming GWA, Shelby A. In addition, we were presented with a five-week day camp rental this summer. This rental opportunity will provide important revenue that helps us meet our financial goals and invest in much-needed capital improvements to our camp property, ensuring Rainbow Camp remains a place our members can enjoy for many years to come.
We know how much our girls cherish their time at Rainbow Camp, and we sincerely regret that we are unable to offer multiple weeks this year. However, combined with the continued increase in operating expenses such as insurance, food, and other camp costs, the Board felt this was the most responsible decision for both the present and the future of our camp.
Please know that every decision was made with the long-term sustainability of Rainbow Camp in mind. Our goal is to continue providing a safe, memorable, and meaningful camp experience while responsibly caring for the property that has created so many lifelong memories for generations of Rainbow Girls.
We appreciate your understanding, support, and continued love for Rainbow Camp. We look forward to making this year's camp week one filled with friendship, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
Thank you for your continued support of Rainbow Camp and the young women we serve.
With gratitude,
The Rainbow Camp of Massachusetts Board of Directors
